Integrating With CallRail
Learn how to integrate Callrail into Forefront, the go-to phone system for investors. This enables you to easily make calls and send texts within the system.
To integrate, you’ll need a CallRail account. If you’re using follow-up sequences that send text messages, you may need to increase your CallRail limit for outbound calls, text messages from leads, and follow-ups.

Easily follow these steps to integrate CallRail
Connect your CallRail account to ForeFront for seamless lead generation through incoming calls and texts. Enjoy the convenience of making outbound calls, sending texts from leads, and using Automated Follow-Up Sequences for messaging.
Please note, you’ll need a CallRail Essentials plan or higher for integration with ForeFront.

Step 1 – Creating API keys
Start by creating an API v3 Key for your CallRail account
1.1 Click on the account menu at the top left, then choose “My Profile”
1.2 Select API keys from the Security section in the left menu
1.3 Select Create API v3 key to create a new API key (if you haven’t created a key before).
1.4 Copy the new key you just made. This key will expire in 15 minutes for security purposes. If you can’t do it within this timeframe, simply click “Create API key” again to generate a new one.
1.5 Navigate to Forefront Settings > Integrations, choose CallRail, paste the copied code, and hit “Connect to CallRail.”
1.6 Once connected to CallRail, you’ll be prompted to choose an account. Simply select the desired one and click “Connect to Account” to complete the process.
1.7 Once you choose an account name, a dropdown will appear, letting you easily select the desired company to add. Click the “Connect to Company” button.
Once completed, you’ll be able to view all the numbers associated with the recently integrated CallRail company in a user-friendly manner.
Step 2 – Setup the Webhooks
2.1 Check out the site for a list of webhook URLs. Please copy and paste each one into CallRail.
2.2 Return to your Callrail account and set up Webhooks, click on Settings at the top, then pick Library from the left-side integrations menu. Select Webhooks from the available options.
2.3 Locate the relevant webhook and insert ForeFront’s webhook URLs
Step 3 – Update newly added tracking numbers in Forefront
To add new numbers to your CallRail account, go to Settings, then Integrations, and select Callrail. Click “Resync Numbers” to update your account with the new numbers. Make sure the new numbers belong to the same CallRail company to see them appear.
