Overview
- You’ll need a premium Zapier account
- Create a Zap in Zapier to receive the leads
- Setup webhook in Forefront CRM to receive the parse lead information from the Zap
Here are the simple steps you need to follow
Step 1 – Create a new Zap, and setup the trigger

1.1 Create an Email Parser by giving it a name and setting a trigger

1.2 Select “New Email as the Trigger Event

1.3 Log in to Zapier Email Parser

1.4 Be sure to click the “Login with Zapier” button

Please check the connection on this screen to make sure it’s working properly

1.6 Continue with Mail Parser Setup

Create your Mail Parser inbox

1.7 Compose Test Email
Go to your email account and create a new email. In the “To” field, enter the email address displayed on the parser mailbox page

Please title your email “Test submission” or any other subject you prefer. In the email body, you can either paste a recent FHO email lead or use the following text:

Continue

1.11 Test the Trigger

When the test finds an email, check the “parse: output” section below and make sure all the information is accurate. If there are any mistakes, it means the parser didn’t work properly.
To fix it, make sure the email you’re sending is in the correct format and try selecting the data fields again. Then, run the test again.
You can also test the parsing by sending emails to the mailbox’s email address and clicking the “View Email” link on this page: https://parser.zapier.com/mailboxes/. Look for the “output” link in the row of links labeled “extracted/original/template/output” and click it to see the results.
Step 2 – Setup the Zap Action
We’re going to set up the zap to transfer the email details to your Forefront CRM
2.1 Create a new Webhook

- What should we call the webhook and which campaign and temperature should we assign to new leads coming through this webhook?
- You can create a campaign by clicking on this link: https://app.forefrontcrm.com/campaigns but it’s optional

After creating the webhook, refresh the page so that it shows in the table. Then, click the copy button to copy the webhook URL:

2.2 Choose the Webhook Action for your Zap
In Zapier, go to the Action step of your Zap and look for ‘Webhook’ by searching. Then choose ‘Webhooks by Zapier’ from the options available

Choose the “POST” Event and click Continue

2.3 Set POST Action URL
Paste the webhook URL you copied from Forefront as the post-action URL

Click the “Test and Review” button
Zapier can transfer email data to your Forefront webhook after parsing it.
Step 3 – Transfer email data to relevant fields in your CRM system
3.1 To access the new webhook, go to Forefront CRM and navigate to Settings, then Webhooks. Find the Manage link and click on it

You might have to refresh the page to see the parsed email information sent from the Zap test in your Forefront webhook manage view as seen below:

3.2 Connect the Email Information to your Forefront CRM Account Fields
In the ‘Field Maps’ section, choose the data you want to keep within your Forefront leads
For each field on the left that you want data from, select the Forefront CRM field on the right that it will be saved as
To view the common fields and their corresponding mappings, simply click on this line.
Click the ‘Save’ button!
3.3 It’s time to activate your Webhook!
When you turn on your webhook, any new leads sent to you from FHO will appear in your Forefront Pipeline!
To turn on/off, simply switch the button and hit save

Step 4 – Turn on your Zap
The webhook is now active in Forefront, which means we can turn on your zap. This will enable it to receive emails from FHO
4.1 Click “Turn on Zap”

4.2 Before Setting up FHO to send leads, make sure to test your Zap first
To check the new zap, simply send the test data to the Zap Mailbox we made earlier via email.
Resend the test email and keep an eye on your Forefront Pipeline to see the new lead appear
If you can’t see the new lead in the pipeline, try these steps:
- Make sure that the Forefront Webhook is active
- Also, confirm that you sent the email to Zapier’s Email Parser mailbox email
- Finally, check that the email appears in your Email Parser mailbox’s email history and that the output is in the right format
Step 5 – Have FHO send the leads to the email parser mailbox
5.1 Login to your FHO account and go to the Account page. Click the Add Email button

5.2 Please enter the email address of your Email Parser Mailbox where you sent the test emails and then click ‘Save’

Once you enter an email address, FHO includes it in both Lead Notices and Admin Notices. However, remember to remove the Email Parser Mailbox email from Admin Notices to avoid sending admin emails to Forefront as new leads.
Great job, you have finished!
All leads received by Fast Home Offers will now be sent directly to your Forefront CRM account. This ensures that no leads are missed or lost.
